The First Digital Nation is a digital archive project, created as a way to preserve Tuvalus heritage and statehood. It raises many questions in its implementation, notably how to create a reproduction of the Tuvaluans culture, without falling in digital colonialism. Some decolonial possibilities are discussed, as well as the question of loss of authenticity.
